PANIC
Panic, born and raised in San Diego, California, was always into music. At the age of only 12 years old, he began playing percussion daily in a park near his home. As the years passed on, his passion for beats grew and his necessity for music in his life became insatiable.
He was able to fine tune his instinctive talent playing in a diverse range of bands. In the middle of 1998, a collaboration of musicians, with a multitude of vintage analog gear in tow, came together to form a live electronic techno group called D*tox. Panic played his role as the percussionist and soon became skilled at drum programming as well.
D*tox embarked on a locally stemmed promotional tour which lead to several residencies. During his journey with D*tox, Panic played on stage at many raves and clubs alongside of musicians like Moby, Plastic man and Kimball Collins. Despite the bands growing popularity and recognition, several of the members lost focus of their dream and began focusing on other areas of their lives. D*tox split, and the members went their separate ways. As a result, Panic was born.
During his time with D*tox, Panic expanded his musical talents into the realm of producing. Panic was determined to define his style. He began to concentrate on a deeper, tribal-sounding, psychedelic genre of music - tech house. Still armed with his congas Panic hit the studio with purpose and created the Panic sound. Unwavering from his mission to bring people together through music, Warbled Music and Espionage Recordings are unleashed upon the community.
Panic has already been picked up by several labels, beginning with Electrik Soul, Blue Daze, Dmt3, Big Chief, Household Recordings, Totem Music, Court Square Recordings, stupendous music, casa del soul and, of course, Warbled Music.
