Type 1 consists of two DJ's Baz and Glenn

They have been best friends since they were 3 years old.

From the early days of when they discovered Hard house at the infamous Freedom at Bagley’s at the age of seventeen they was completely taken over by the music and the scene. From watching the Dj's spin every week they decided to buy decks and start buying the records they had heard from the weekends.

Type 1 have now been playing on the London hard dance circuit for 6 years.

They have had numerous residencies in London such as Pendragon, Atomic Energy, Afterlife, Th!nk, Fuel, Wired, Infectious. Currently they are residents for Ed Real's Infamous Party Riot! They have just been made residents for Danny Gilligan’s Ignition at the Fridge.

Their style has changed and they are no longer playing hard house for the time being. They feel hard house is not progressing and they got bored of playing the same records time and time again. They are now playing techno in all its forms but mainly European funky techno.

You will still catch them every weekend playing on the London circuit and around the UK mainly.

They toured Ibiza twice last year playing a total of 10 sets and have played two sets for Extreme Vs Tidy at Es Paradis this season. They have also toured Poland And Holland.

Their mission is to make techno massive in this country like it is every where else around the globe.

They are working very hard in the studio with their studio partner Nick Sentience producing foward thinking techno not just the average loop based stuff.
Type 1 have now started a Techno Digital Label Subtronika. There are two colors of this label.

Red is for the funky to tougher techno and Purple is for the Minimal to Detriot Techno sound.

Their debut track “Satisfy” Ft Liz Cirelli has been made track of the month in DJ Mag and will feature on Marcel Woods forthcoming album, it has also had massive support from Budai & Vic, DJ Preach, Sander Van Doorn.
