DJ ROMY "BEST DJ OF THE YEARS 2007 REDMA AWARD" "BEST PRODUCER OF THE YEARS 2007 REDMA AWARD" From early influences in the acid house explosion of 88 through back from London in 1992 Romy throw thunderous underground house and techno party in Jakarta. He is the one of pioneer of early house culture in Indonesia. He also one of the mastermind in the legendary main rooms of The B1 the first underground club in Jakarta. He has been playing at some international event such Gods Kitchen,Gate Crasher,Cream,Malaysian Unity,and DJs such as Tony Thomas, Terry Francis, Dylan Rhymes, Diferent Gear,Jon Pleased Wimmin, Flash Brother, Joshua IZ, Hernan Kataneo, Justin Drake and Clive Henry, Silencer, Circulation, Lee Budrigge,D-Ramirez, Adrian Champion, Nico Deceglia, Andy Jarrod , Rich Harvey, Criss Tarantella, Meat Katie, Garth, DJ Buck,Satoshi Tomiie, Nick K,Tom Baker,DJ Misjah,Tall Paul,Park & Wilson,Funkagenda and more.. Never one to be stereotyped, Romy equally comfortable playing slamming 3 -deck techno, through to relaxed, quirky, underground electro house, a bit of tech house but its his pumping electro tech sets that have won him the most fans. DJ Romy release a remixes of Jackie Reverse track called "Funkulator" at Reverse Label , Also with Tony Thomas and listed as Producer & Artist at Cubic label UK and his own label 1945MF & Sound of Jakarta UK. He is the grand son of 1st President of Indonesia Sukarno and nephew of 5th President of Indonesia Megawati Sukarnoputri. Romy also created 1945MF as DJ Management (Jakarta, Bandung, Jogyakarta, Surabaya, Kuala Lumpur,Peru and London) and Party Promoters.
