Electro Esthetica is a russian electronic duo, founded by DJ Sergey “Cascade” & Alexandr “Shubert”. Alexandr was a professional sound producer for 8 years and performed live in Ars Nova project. Collaboration with DJ Sergey “Cascade” ( http://www.cascade.pdj.ru ) became the turning point in his career. Sergey started as a DJ in one of the first Moscow nightclubs “Titanic”. He performed in many popular venues including Club XIII, well known in Europe for it’s Halloween parties. By the end of 2006 he started producing his own mate-rial and released a number of tracks under aliases “Shumer” & “Cascade”. Their first track “Movement” was recorded in “Art-ifact Sound” Studio in June 2005. At the same time Ser-gey & Aleksey met Ingo Martin - the Dj and producer for “Azzido Da Bass” Project. Foreign colleague convinced them to keep working together. In early september 2006, “Electro Esthetica” signed a contract with a new russian record-label “Aquatoria Funk” http://www.aquatoriafunk.com “In Aquatoria Funk, we are always looking for new talents. We don’t have strict genre limi-tations. Funky, Electro, Progressive or Lounge - we maintained a high quality bar for our records from the very beginning. Being World Wildlife Fund media partner, “Aquatoria Funk” is already supported by top russian and international Dj’s. “Electro Esthetica” is debutant and our lead artist. With media coverage provided by Radio “Megapolis FM” (Moscow, Russia) they are constantly gaining auditorium. “Electro Esthetica - Falling down” was released on 11th of october and was well received both by Dj’s and music lovers. http://www.discogs.com/release/839862 " Their records were first aired on “Ethnolife 2006” international music festival. In october 2006, “Electro Esthetica” released their debut single “Falling Down”. The record received many positive reviews from industry’s finest. Even before it’s official release, their second single “Coxin’ My Mind” was bootlegged and broadcasted on Moscow dance radio station “Megapolis FM”. Electro Esthetica’s original sound is a unique blend of genres. Com-pressed rhythm and electric base are topped by melodic vocals and progressive house es-thetics. “We always searched for new sounds, where a normal person wouldn’t imagine them to be. “Voodoo Celebration” was a very spontaneous record. This track is a trip to Haiti is-lands, where midnights are no less hot than noons, and golden sands are washed with crystal clear waters. We used very common objects as musical instruments. An old soviet fan’s lattice, some stickers, plastic bottles and boxes, the real indian maracas, a toy tam-bourine. As a result the record has a very unusual & interesting percussion. We look for beauty everywhere.
