Paolo Driver was born in Genoa. Starts his artistic career in electronic music during the half 90’. Since the beginning he choose different sounds; trip hop,deep,techno.house. such style leads him in scenes like Italy and France. Always searching something new to propose brings at the beginning of the millennium a new partnership: With Alberto Bof well know jazzy European pianist. During this period the sound get in to the funk style: 26 vinyl & 2 cds with labels like: Presslab Records First Pop records Killer loud Beat No Label jamblok records The interest of the disco market was high. The cooperation with Jamblok get out the single “Worm Blaster”in to the soundtrack of “Le 11 comandamant” Warner and “Ogun De Gara'“in to the movie “Les Corps Impatiente”. After all this journey in 2005 Paolo decide to bring his own production in to the dance floors: 2009 Makishi was issued on 9 records the single contains an Alex Kenji remix that drive up on the top of digital sales. Alex di Stefano also remixed Misaki. Ok samba well know hit around all clubs give the direction of a new way in house music. Ok Tango - Takashi - Wide Move - Un Pasito Mi nobre juan Pachanga - Take Me Up - Mamoru - Basant Bahar - Que Pasa - El Baile' many of those are on compilation like: Radio Sunshine vol 7 e vol 8 mixed by Gorge e Real Select compilation M2o. During the 09 Paolo starts a new collaboration with hotfingers: Una Diana” remixed by da Chris soul and Danyel Kio get immediatly into beatport charts. Miss Sarabanda realized with Stoned Chicken and Esmeralda Sashia voice remixed by Alex Kenji - Manuel De La Mare - Riva Starr - Rafa Alcantara. Sin da subito sceglie ambientazioni sonore differenti dal mercato discografico contemporaneo riuscendo ad emergere sia in Italia che in Francia proponendo musica trip hop, deep tecno,house. La voglia di fare qualcosa di diverso porta Paolo a contatto con musicisti e con l'arrivo del nuovo millenio inizia a collaborare in studio insieme ad Alberto Bof noto pianista nella scena jazzy europea. I due insieme performano e producono musica elettronica con armonie tipicamente funk riuscendo a realizzare 26 vinili e 2 cd con label come Presslab Records ,first Pop Records, Killer Loud Beat, No label,Jamblock Records suscitando un notevole interesse da parte del mercato discografico La collaborazione con Jamblock records porta il singolo “Worm Blaster” nella colonna sonora del film “Le 11 comandamant” pruduzione Warner e “Ogun De Gara'“nel film “Les Corps Impatiente”. Dopo questa avventura musicale durata circa 5 anni Paolo nel 2005 inizia a lavorare da solo portando le sue produzioni musicali ad essere un prodotto piu Dancefloor. Nel 2006 esce su 9Records con Makishi - contenente un remix di Alex Kenji che lo proietta immediatamente in alto nelle classifiche dei piu prestigiozi negozi online. Misaki remixata da Alex di Stefano Successivamente, Paolo insieme a David Cortella(Dende) Francesco Di Fiore (DamFlower) Andrea Mocellin (Andrea Mocce) fondano la Nuhar Records Etichetta italiana riconoscita a livello internazionale per il suo incofondibile stile Su Nuhar Records Paolo pubblica dischi come Ok Samba produzione che acquisisce notorietà in brevissimo tempo divenendo una hit di tutti i club House del Globo tracciando un nuovo percorso musicale preso come punto di ispirazione dai giovani produttori di musica house , Ok Tango - Takashi - Wide Move - Un Pasito Mi Obre juan Pachanga - Take Me Up - Mamoru - Basant Bahar - Que Pasa - El Baile' Svariate di queste produzioni le possiamo trovare in compilation come Radio Sunshine vol 7 e vol 8 mixsata da Gorge e Real Select compilation M2o. Miss Sarabanda brano realizzato insieme a Stoned Chicken con la voce di Esmeralda Sashia remixato da Alex Kenji - Manuel De La Mare - Riva Starr - Rafa Alcantara Attualmente Paolo collabora con il programma radiofonico Real Selecta in onda al Sabato sera su M2o presentando tutte le sue uscite discografiche. In the new 2005 season he begins as a resident at the Nuhar Club, a unique club in Genoa with an innovative style, where Paolo is able to once again express his sound skills and make a difference, captivating the Genoese dance scene at international level, with great enthusiasm from the public.
In
the Summer of 2006 he takes his success to Swing,
a club located on a splendid cliff overlooking the sea, where together with the
same Djs from Nuhar,
In October 2006 Paolo is involved in Subway Vibration, a European music festival and charity even for cancer research, to which other internationally acclaimed Djs take part, and is also attended by a vast number of members of the public. This initiative has been very important in Paolos music career because since its creation, he has always made sure to be involved in order to make the public, who attends to alike events, aware of certain issues.
At present Paolo is again a resident Dj at Nuhar Club whilst he continues working in his recording studio. Although currently perhaps experiencing a transition period in the music field, he is working on many new projects involving different musical genre in which he can express his evolved cultural and musical background.
