Lucius Lowe
Created through a freak laboratory accident involving Reason (tm) and a 200MHz P2 in late 2001, Lucius Lowe was raised in a PC server tower case and spoon-fed a diet of 80's metal and later, 90's funky house. He quickly matured, developing an addiction to the sound altering drug VST* and began the long downward spiral into the deep, dark underworld of the Sequencer. Evidence of this hopeless addict's continuing condition can be found on these pages, his only hope of salvation is to be signed by a major record label. Fresh from the Boogs Music stable, this exciting, dynamic and prolific artist has his finger firmly on the pulse of today's house music scene. With a style ranging from soulful, funky vocal house tracks to tuff, chunky dancefloor filling grooves, Lucius Lowe receives rave reviews wherever he is played and has been compared to some of today's top house artists including Ian "45" Carey, Warren Clarke and Miguel Migs, among others. With tracks included on compilations from Manchester City College's label "D6 Records" and a reworking of Control's 1991 rave classic "Dance with me (I'm your ecstasy)" due for major release under the same label this summer, it seems Lucius Lowe will be a name to watch for years to come.
