Marko Vilches got involved in music at an early age; in fact, at the age of 10 he already started playing the guitar and taking keyboard lessons. Three years later, he began to listen to bands like Depeche Mode, Nitzer, Ebb and front 242 and this is when he got really into the kind of music made by electronic devices (synthesizers, programmed drum machines, sequencers and stuff).

Then he took another step toward music: he formed his first band called Orb Krobia which was a mixture between electronic body and industrial music In 1995 at the age of 18 he started his dj career inspired by early influences such as Hard Floor, Alter Ego and Josh wink, becoming quickly resident at Valparaiso club and Planet Club in Viña del Mar, the Chile's leading seaside resort city. In year 2000, and having made two radio programs and spun at important clubs and parties, he met Dj Dorian Chavez, Dj Luife and Dj A. Vivanco with whom worked on different projects giving the local scene cultural diffusion.

Later on, Marko’s invited to be part of one of the most consistent underground clubs in Viña del Mar: Café Journal. Marko’s spun along side Djs such as Swayzak, Mónica Kruse, Akufen, Dr motte, A.D.N.Y, Luciano Nicolet, Casey Hogan, Mark Sender, Ricardo Villalobos, Mike Shanon, Alan Thiznau, Wilson Santos, Many (Primal Scream), Robert Travis, Justin Drake (Peace Division), among others, Thousands of people have been delighted by the sound of Marko behind the decks at important events such as Earth Dance, Open Rave 1999, Loveparade 2005/2006, etc, and for brands like Levis, Jack Daniel’s and Puma.

For all these reasons, Marko’s been considered as one of the pioneers of the Chilean electronic scene and recently chosen as one of the best Chilean Djs by Heineken Music 2005.
