Artist: DP-6
The project DP-6 was found in the summer of 2000. This is a cooperation of two its participants: Alexey Filin and Vadim Indigo.
The project is famous for its Live and DJ performances in different night clubs, great number of releases all over the world and two own radioshows on such Radio stations as Pure. Fm and Danceradio.gr.
Before the creation of the project Alexey worked some years with a sound, composing experimental electronic music. Vadim was the DJ.
After Vadim's arrival from the south of Russia both future participants of the project casually met each other on one of the parties. As it turned out, their musical preferences and points of view are similar. So the idea to make something together was born.
And at the same time the project DP-6 was found.
Soon the first track of the project «Summer 2000» was created.
After that many tracks were produced one by one, and really successful works came into the world of music. During that time DP-6’s music got its own special and always recognized sounding. And this music is loved by people on the dancefloor, they are indifferent to it. At the same time their music is also quite suitable for domestic listening.
Since that time DP-6 played their live-sets in night clubs of Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Odessa, Naberezhnye Chelny, Krasnodar, Voronezh, Tver and other cities. The music of DP-6 was approved and supported by many Russian and World DJs and labels. Mixes and tracks of the project are already in the airs of Russian and western radio stations.
In 2003 DP-6 produced the first vinyl release in Belgium on a label In-Cycle Records. This release was supported by such world techno stars as Jeff Mills, Michael Burkat and Lars Klein.
Further the project brought out some more records in Holland, Belgium, Germany and America on such labels as Xtra:Sound, Genetic Records, Ghostwriter and Elephanthaus.
their records were support as well and were played by Chris Liebing, Marco Carola, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, Anthony Pappa and Deep Dish!
Besides this the remix of the project on track of Alex Stealthy - Deploring was produced on famous progressive label Vapour Records and this record was approved by Ferry Corsten, Kasey Taylor, Armin Van Buuren, Nick Warren, Desyn Maseilo and Matthew Dekay.
In 2006 the project actively continued to write music and they created many different sets on style and mood on labels System Recordings, Fly Life, Top Records, Pure Substance, Existence, Peeled Tracks, Bonzai, Cutz and many others.
And at present time DP-6 signed contracts and are ready to produce some more records, including the vinyl ones.
In Russia the music of DP-6 was also approved and was included in a couple of mix CDs : Kasey Taylor - " 3 Beat Mix " on label Diamond Russia and Radiotrance presents: Made in Russia. 100 % Techno on Monolit Records.
