Herbie Caine
Herbie Caine is head engineer/producer within the HazHard Records stables and organises the day to day running of the HazHard studio.
Herbie has a die Hard approach to Hard dance which sees some of the most savage stomping basslines, ferocious hoover riffs, scorching synth leads in the business.
Herbie prides himself on the quality of production and mastering achieved @ HazHard Records and has worked with various other producers including, Miss HazHard, Dan Sinista, JozaB, BioHazHard head Jonny Orange and Fidget boss `n` general Hard Dance legend Barry Diston.
Herbie has been in the background of the underground Hard Dance scene in the south, back to the days of the renowned `Manor`, `Enzos`, `Cheeky Little Monkey` and the legendary `Country Club`. Herbie can always be found pretty much anywhere theres a party, rave or weekender!!!
From an upbringing of Kinks, beatles and the like, Herbie fell right into the early Hardcore scene at the tender age of 12, when a tape was left around by his older brother. He had soon gathered many tapes and loved the sound, but due to his age had to make do with local nappy nights (u18).
He then widened his horizons when he was let loose in the clubs and the Hard House revolution came about in the late 90s. He loved local events such as `Cheeky Little Monkey`, `Destiny` & `Slinky` and wider afield `Storm`, `Tidy Weekenders`, `Gatecrasher` and `Hardcore Heaven/Slammin Vinyl` events.
Herbies production days began back in the mid 90s with an early version of Cubase, a Roland drum machine, a couple of hardware synths and a mixer. Having not been classically trained, Herbie and his partner in crime experimented rather than making serious tunes. Through the years Herbie has expanded his studio artillery and moved from a mainly hardware based studio to a mainly Software based setup.
