What's been your biggest achievement of the year?
I would have to say my last 2 releases with Lizzie Curious. I am really proud of those tracks, New World Translation hit the number 2 spot on Track It Down and was 17 in the Buzz chart and 27 in the Cool Cuts chart. Faithless played the track on their Radio One Essential Mix, which was incredible!! The second track Two Left Feet (Love Is So Unkind) will be out on Track It Down in the new year.
What moments will you never forget?
Playing 2 massive parties in Kiev, the crowds there are amazing and I ended up playing for about 5 hours both times I played there. Should be back In Kiev in the new year, if anyone gets a chance to party over in Kiev you will love it!!
Who's been your favourite newcomer of the year?
Ricki Bruni has had some wicked tracks out this year, and from the new promo I've heard has something special lined up for next year.
Who's been the artist of the year for you?
Got to be Mark Knight and Underworld, they just keep coming with some great music, Faithless are at the top of my list too really want to try get to see them at Brixton in the New Year.
What's been your favourite label of the year?
Gotta be Toolroom, they just keep coming up with massive tunes.
What do you think has been the best track of the year?
Ooo thats a really hard one..... I guess....Not Going Home by Faithless, I love the Eric Prydz mix and the new Underworld track that I have just got on promo is amazing.
What's been your favourite event of the year?
Apart from the events in Kiev, it would have to be The Gallery, played there 6 times in 09 and as I write this I am putting my set together for the Gallery Christmas party tonight at Ministry.
What's the funniest thing that's happened to you?
It was not so funny at the time, but I left my CD bag in a club and then had to try and explain the following morning to a cleaner that I was in-fact the DJ and I needed my bag, when she didn't really speak any English....
What do you have planned for the next year?
Tracks I have just finished will be coming out in the New year on Baroque, Kult and Pink Rabbit, lots of studio days making tunes. Have got some tasty gigs coming up including a festival in May with The Gallery, dates at Ministry and some more international escapades.
