Lionel Weets aka MGMX was born in 1986 in Brussels  (Belgium) and lives  in the Liège Province. His producer career started when he met Josh Love, world famous French techno producer, who helped him to amazingly increase his producing skills. Josh slowly became one of Lionel’s closest friends and they are working a lot together.

His first track was released on Techno Addicted Records and his first EP "Madness EP" on Guilhotina Records. MGMX’s first vinyl release was signed on Beatform Records. As Josh Love was his mentor, MGMX first release on Starstraxx Records called "Grooveness EP" was one of the bestsellers of early 2010, with “Burnig Groove” reaching the 2nd place of the Trackitdown techno top100 and staying on top since its release date, which was big sign of recognition for him.

He currently has signed more than 40 releases  (EP's / Tracks / Remixes) in great digital and vinyl labels such as : Beatform, Adult, Series X (Patterns), GS Series, Starstraxx, Work Hard Play Hard,  Techment, Alternatif Records, Keep On Techno, Guilhotina Records, Techno Addicted Records, Disturbulence, CP Series, Tech Art, Tech Head and more., and he is also A&R of Starstraxx.
