Mark Williams
Mark Williams is no newcomer to the scene after kick-starting his career back in the 80s. No one can deny that dance music was in full force with events such as Energy, Sunrise with pioneers such as Derrick May were making tracks including the seminal "Strings of Life", still played on the dance floor and still sounding as good as in their era.Producing was his next step, working alongside Matt Clayden in the early days under the guise of M&M, producing a plethora of memorable dance tracks in 1990-92. Later Mark and Matt changed their style and were no longer M&M becoming 'Acorn Arts' with their label 'X - Gate'; producing such tracks as Body, Vanilla and The Drum.
After a couple of years Mark felt it was time to make the step, and go solo taking the producer name 'Acorn Arts' along with him. Mark has since then developed into a prolific producer & DJ with a distinctive style that has enabled him to play at some of the most respected clubs on the scene, thus insuring him a place on The World - wide Ultimatum '98 Tour with the legendary Carl Cox.
Also this year mark has had the pleaser of being on Ben Sims Ingoma Tour which included playing at the Loft Club in Barcelona on weekend of Sonar.
Mark has recorded for some of the worlds best label including Ingoma Phont Tortured Primate Dark House and his own labels Artificial Vinyl Real Session and Real Vinyl.
