Alice Kaitlyn Luck aka Alexis K, also known as Akuce, or Kidsader.
Influenced by everything from Massive Attack, Jack White, Led Zep and Jimmy Page through to Truth, Peaches, Soundgarden and Doc Scott, Alice has been focused on carving her own unique sound into the dubstep and dnb soundscapes for the better part of the last year. She co-founded and runs “The Real Big Groove” with Nieta Moore (Spinsta) since early 2009.
Alice also collaborates under the names of “Sub Affair” with Qel-Droma (Stupid Fly) & “Nefarious Residents” with Spinsta (Real Big Groove).
Aswell as djJing and production. Alice has written 2 short films. Worked on several short films as crew, sound editor and composer. Performs as a standup comic and is currently designing a line of clothes in collaboration with Alice D. to be released summer 2011 called “Alexis K does Alice D”. She also volunteers her time at Radio Active (89FM) and whole-heartedly supports the LBGTIQP community.
