Druu

LoFREEQ recording artist Druu is a Southern California based producer/songwriter who specializes in Electronica, Rap/Rock and Hip-Hop styles that push boundaries.  His music has been featured in the soundtracks to TV shows on CBS, Fuel TV and Court TV in the U.S. as well as the Discovery Channel worldwide and you just might hear his Hip-Hop beats during your favorite MTV show.

2006 has brought a number of singles from Druu as well as whisperings of a new CD release. 2005's full-length CD release, Turn It Up!, was all about Breaks.  All kinds of Breaks, from Electro and Nu-Skool to Drum 'n Bass and Rock/Hip-Hop infused Breaks. 2004's EP release, Sub-Urban, was released to rave reviews from the internet radio and underground Electronica community, mixing Breakbeat, Trance and Drum n' Bass styles.  Earlier in 2004, Druu's Alternative Hip-Hop single, Get Rid of Your Bush, made some noise and brought the laughs during the U.S. election season, with the instrumental mixes continuing life by being featured in DVD's such as Import Entertainment's 'The Crazy Bikini Show'.  Early on, Druu recorded Hip-Hop under the moniker The Doctor and had his single, Let's Get Serious, featured on the Epic Records compilation release Street Rap 90.
