Unexist
28 year old Francesco Iapicca from Osio Sopra(Bergamo) in
Northern Italy has been djing for over 12 years now under
the name DJ Jappo. In the last years he developed himself to
Unexist and now he is creating an unmistakeable music style.
He starting out listening to Hardcore in 1992 at the Number
One Club in Brescia, Italy where Claudio Lancinhouse was
resident. Unexists relationship with Claudio grew and they
began producing tracks togetherUnexist acquired a residency
at the Number One, followed by a residency at the Dylan
Club, both in Brescia, Italy.
Incorporating the darkness of extremity with the European
rave orientated gabber, Unexist is pushing hardcore to new
levels to an ever growing fanbase. Unexist states that he
has been influenced by lots of diverse acts, such as Lenny
Dee & DOA to Slipknot and The Prodigy. There are far too
many to list!
Now Francesco is always busy developing his characteristic
Unexist-sound. Under his alias Dj Jappo, he scored a big hit
with EXLXAXL. He produced and played together with dj
phenomenons like Lenny Dee, Oliver Chesler, Promo and Manu
le Malin.
While living in New York for a year, Unexist immersed
himself in the scratch-scène. Now we can say he is a real
professional at this topic.He kept practicing every day and
he became a real Turntablist and his turtablized-sets should
not be missed.
At the moment he is working on his first Album which will
be released in October 2005.He is still working hard to
develop his sound and he will keep going on to
DEVELOP THE SICKNESS!!!
