Phil & Bren of Splitloop are a fantastically talented and witty duo from Dublin, Ireland who met on a bus on the way to a Prodigy gig and hit it off after discovering a mutual respect for electronic music. Since then they have been locked away in deepest Dublin developing a funk fuelled style of breaks which has won them the respect of The Plump DJs, Tayo and Krafty Kuts amongst others.

They have released a string of critically acclaimed singles, notched up 5 bookings in the main room at Fabric, appeared on BBC Radio 1 twice and written what we feel is the best breaks album in sometime. ‘Here On Business’ is not just a solid collection of block rocking breaks, they have explored alternative routes to making music and have produced a listening experience that flows effortlessly.
