Track Information: Dwelving into the darker sides of the soul, eq is a faster disturbing tune. Quirky beats and intrecate audio slicing and endless glitching make this a sariously paranoid tune. D-Fault is the collaboration Experimental/IDM project of Maayan Peer (aka Black Mizi Pro Duck Sun) and Yaron Eshkar (aka Faxi Nadu / Elmooht), both hailing from Israel. The vast array of musical influences between the artists, and at times the clash between them, brings about an interesting collaboration, rich in flavor and content. D-Fault packs in both the raw power and warmth of the analog world, with the clarity and precision of the digital DSP domain. Hi-tech broken grooves, chopped up melodies and sizzling digital effects, exploring the limits of creativity. Dark, psychedelic and disturbing, yet vaguely optimistic, giving D-Fault a fresh, yet nostalgic appeal. Yaron Eshkar (aka Faxi Nadu / Elmooht) Yaron Eshkar is a convicted x-phile and trekkie, whose geekness eventually found a home in the music making world of bits and dbs. His main musical project Faxi Nadu, focuses on hard and kicking psytrance/techno with a dark and sinister twist. Groovy horror tunes with a heavy dose of soundscapes, psychedelic effects, paranoid screams and groans - suitable for partying on the dance floor. As Elmooht, Yaron has been experimenting with the avantgarde for a number of years, presenting rich crafted drone and atmosphere experimental music. Yaron's music has been presented on a number of cd releases, as well as on the internet scene with various Elmooht and Faxi Nadu releases available for free download through netlabels around the net. Maayan Peer (aka Black Mizi Pro Duck Sun) Maayann Peer is a music producer, working music and sounds for such projects as student and indie films, local bands, and his own solo prject, Black Mizi Pro Duck Sun. BMP music is atmospheric, moody and personal - fusing various genres and musical influences into an abstract and experimental form. Maayan's production offers a unique multi-threaded storytelling experiance - a collage of experimental, idm and glitch. |
