You Take Me Away (Junki Munki Remake)

Junki Munki Records is an exciting new hardcore inspired breakbeat concept.  What is that exactly?  It’s a fusion of the modern breakbeat sound together with classic “hands in the air” themes – sure to get all the rushing dance floor crew (and everyone else) going wild!  Brainchild of acclaimed producer Junki Munki, our tracks have had support from the likes of Ellis Dee, Jay Cunning, Slipmatt, Billy ‘Daniel’ Bunter and many more of the world’s leading dance artists.

Portal are best known for their huge underground hit ‘Bad Habits’, which set clubs alight in 2006 on its release.  We are privileged to have them included on our label’s second instalment.  ‘You Take Me Away (Original Portal Slammer)’ is true hardcore, with a mash up of familiar vocals, synth riffs and cheeky samples sending the crowds wild every time.  The flipside features the renowned ‘Junki Munki Remake’, featuring big pianos, even bigger vocals, euphoric synth lines, hard stabs, stomping beats and huge build-ups.  There’s something for everyone in this remake, and the bass line is assured to make the whole auditorium shake!  We are sure you will find that both mixes do the required damage…
