Ice Queen (Purple Unit Remix)

Mutated Forms, an Estonian trio who gained notoriety on DJ SS's Formation, World Of Drum & Bass and New Identity records are set to launch their very own digital imprint 'Digitally Mutated'. The brand new label will launch with the ice cold dance floor killer "Ice Queen," backed with a remix by Ukrainian producer Purple Unit.

The contrasting sounds in "Ice Queen" won't leave anyone frozen to the floor - pads, synths and eerie sounds from the North Pole define this track to a T. The massive drums and phat, bouncy bass line leaves you in awe from the intro onwards. Coupled with the trio's production excellence, this tune epitomizes Mutated's trademark dance floor, unpredictable style.

In stark contrast to the stereotypical European sound, Purple Unit's remix is rough and techy, resolving a balance to the original, whilst at times it almost brings a softer flavour. The track is loaded with a variety of incredible switches, percussion and floating bass lines.

As the first release on their new label 'Digitally Mutated', the trio comes correct with a slice of dance floor heaviness!
