Track Information: The follow-up to the Italian producer’s ‘Insanity’ release earlier this year stays in familiar territory. Tough beats, percussion and dark bass and stabs combine with bleeps and 80’s style synths to bring us a chunky slice of house. The first of the two remixes comes courtesy of Dutch producer Daniel Forbes. This remix is his debut for Second Coming (two singles will follow in late ’07 / early ’08). Keeping the dark elements of the original, Daniel Forbes adds plenty of layered FX and strips the beat back to give the track a funky, more jackin’ housey feel. Russian producer Python completes the package, following on from his recent remix of DJ Tim’s ‘Snow Queen’. Stripping the whole track down and adding a rattling beat and clicky percussion, Python turns the track into a deep tech / minimal gem. |
