Track Information: What would happen if you force Giorgio Moroder to meet M/A/R/R/S in Ibiza today? That's what Paolo Barbato asked himself before the issue of this bombtrack. Brain Storm is the exact result of this imaginary studio session, the modern punchy basslines are crossing through the early-house snare drums, the vocal lines by SAlex are bringing you back to 1978 and the Barbato production is sending you directly to 2010. There's nothing incredible behind this, Palo Barbato in fact is behind the decks since the early 80's, watching and also making the house music history, spinning the records around Europe and working into his Stereophonic studio. The collection of his records is truly comparable with his collaborations portfolio: Elvio Moratto, Silvano de Gado and Tommy Vee just to put a few on the table. |
