Christian Zikeli is the name behind the all famous German project C-Base. The debut release "Discofans" in 2001 was the beginning of a successful relationship together with musical partner Joern Oelschlaegel. The duo became an institution in the electronic music industry. Joern left the project in 2007. Listing the names of collaborators shows the respect they gained in the past years. World known acts like Blank & Jones, Hemstock & Jennings, Steve Murano, Mario Lopez, Marc van Linden, Mr. Phillips, Tokapi (Sash), Snap, Mario Lopez or Snap were experiencing the C-Base factor. In addition to their remix productions they also created their own acts such as C-Base, Saphira, Markus F and Aquaflex, which cover a wide range of different dance music styles. C-Base's biggest selling hit "Into A Fantasy" was released 2004 and gained top chart positions as well as playlist and compilation inclusions from many bigname DJs. Further at the end of 2007 Christian, now on his own, produced the chart success for Germany's top dance act Yamboo covering Dr. Albans 90's hit "Sing Halleluja" and the follow-up single "Oh Suzanna". 2008 marks the year to get back on the block with his new track SUPERSTRING to be released on Swiss based label Phoenix Recordings, which is run by DJ Madwave & Dave Joy as a sublabel of the well known company Joyride Music. Two stunning Remixes by Mr. Phillips (Quickey Records Manager - hits: 7th Day, Stay Alive & Traveller EP) and Jorn van Deynhoven (remixer of ATB, Hemstock & Jennings, Jan Johnston & CJ Stone - signed by Shane54 & Koris & DJules new label "Unleashed Records Switzerland" are adding an even bigger feel to this already slamming original production.
