Inspired Digital was formed in 2005 to follow the changing times and have an outlet for the digital market and allow us to sign many more great tunes and get them released quicker. We have had major success with this label and the very first release Sean Tyas has been one of the companies biggest releases. We still concentrate on new talent and we release what we consider to be good tune and dont stick with one style., not just epic trance as with the main label.
INSPIRED RECORDS GENERAL:
Founded in June 2003 by DJ Alan Burton, the label was primarily set up to release productions with his production partner. A huge influx of demos from unsigned artists influenced Alan to change direction and take a backseat on production and concentrate on releasing new talent. Our main style is epic uplifting Trance but we are always looking to try something new and from time to time have released deeper, tech-trance records.
From our very second release onwards we have gained huge international DJ support from Paul Van Dyk, Judge Jules, Dave Pearce, Armin Van Burren, Tiesto,Above and beyond, Big Al, Paul Kershaw, Lee Haslam and Ferry Corsten, Johan Gielen, Sean Tyas & Mark Eteson to name a few. We have also had Radio 1, and internatinal radio airplay along with tracks signed to various worldwide compilations including the huge Godskitchen Underground, Tidy Euphoria, Delirium, Ministry of Sound Album's and Germany's Mellomania Series, the popular Trancemaster series, Bobina's Trance Energy Live CD, Discover's 'Live As..', along with compilations in the USA, Canada and Italy.
The future for the label is looking very exciting and the forthcoming schedule is packed with hot new talent from around the world along with some well known and established producers, and now we're lucky enough to be able to invest in some well know names for remixes. We listen to all demos (no other styles apart from previously mentioned).
In December 2008 M8 magazine, in an article with Dave Pearce on 8 tracks that changed his life, Sean Tyas' 'Pacifier' was one of them, and to be included in a list that contained Frankie Knuckles 'Tears', Delerium's 'Silence' it was a big honour.
