852 Recordings is a fresh new electronic music label. Founded by two long-time friends, DJs and producers, Ricky Stone and Jonathan M Waller (aka 'The Fox'), the label combines their extensive dancefloor experience in a potent mix of passion + professionalism. The number 852 may be the phone code for Hong Kong, where Ricky is based, when he's not touring, but 852 Recordings will be home to an electric collection of future-focused house tracks from right around the globe.

Establishing a label to reflect his tastes and those of like-minded others was a natural step for Ricky, who is currently ranked #40 in DJmag's Top 100 DJs Poll – the poll's highest ranked DJ based in Asia! His discography includes remixes for the likes of Hybrid, Blue Amazon, and Sueño Latino, and co-productions that have been signed to labels such as Whoop!, Distinctive, and Red Recordings. Jonathan, meanwhile, has been involved with numerous successful labels over the years, including Dis-funktional Recordings, Nocturnal Recordings, 7MPS, Smokin Rhythms, and Club Kids. He was responsible for signing and tweaking some killer tracks, and previously worked with top DJ/production outfit the Rhythm Masters amongst several notable others. Joining Ricky at the helm of this exciting new collective, Jonathan will be drawing on his in-depth knowledge of club culture to ensure that 852 makes the hottest international connections.

To kick-start the label's release schedule in 2007, 852 Records has called upon the skills of DJ Ralph from France. His fierce 4/4 extravaganza BoBoun (The Drum) will be followed up by other high-octane productions from David Forbes (UK), Disciples of Sound (UK), and Mikael Jonasson (Sweden), with remixes courtesy of an ever-extending family of 852 friends. What's more, as a fantastic international platform for up-and-coming talent as well as more established names, the label also aims to deliver some world class 852 club nights and tours in 2007.
