Fine Balance have been in existence in one form or another since 1995 initially starting out as a Tech-House record label releasing limited edition EP's in 1996 and 1997.

The label was founded by Casey Tucker, who during the early 1990's had been signed to Riche Hawtin and John Acquaviva's Plus-8 & Probe records.
