Muti
Music is known for pushing sound that is indicative of the evolving
sounds for the San Francisco Bay Area, along with remixes and the occasional feature of other international talent putting out breaks, electro, crunky bassline
oriented midtempo music often refered to as 'Glitch Hop' and straight up dance-floor fusion flavors. You can also expect some mid and downtempo 'glitchy' flavors from the label in the near future.
Muti has proved to
be a launch pad for some top talent and has released tracks by Kraddy, Dan Mangan, EVAC, an-ten-nae, Dov, Audiovoid, LayerZ, D'n A, Suff-x, Kemek (TDC), Timonkey and featured remixes by Atomic Hooligan, Future Funk Squad, Si Begg and Ruined.
Muti Music has been putting out quality beats with urban, bass flavors since January 2002. Known for it's stellar Electro and Breakbeat output, Muti is a production based label that will continue to put out a broad range of sounds from artists known for their production in a variety of genres.
About the word `Muti` : (similar to Mojo or Juju) is herbal medicine prescribed by 'Sangomas' and 'Inyangas' in Southern Africa,
