SSU Recordings
Established in 1997 SSU Recordings is the first and largest USA based UK Hardcore label ran by veteran dj and producer Simon Apex. The signature SSU hard, happy and often Breakbeat laded sound has played an intricate role in the introduction of the UK Hardcore sound to the United States. Collaboration projects have included some of the greatest Hardcore players of all time including Fade, Bananaman, Jon Doe, Sharkey, Robbie Long, Devastate, Weaver, DNA, Lostboy & Dair with dj support from every corner of the globe. The label has experienced a multitude of successes over the years with huge vinyl sales and licensing from organizations such as Ministry of Sound, Bonkers, Dance Speed and Warner along with press coverage from some of the world’s largest publications including URB, WAX, BPM, Insider & Massive. Over a decade since its conception SSU Recordings continues to push the boundaries of the Hardcore sound and introduce new and exciting artists to the scene.
