HTD Digital

Home of artists Andrew Cockbill and Shawn Cartwright, HTD Digital is a new label set to deliver an alternative sound to the scene.

It all began early 2007 when the pair first pondered the idea of setting up the record label. The first of several tester events was in July 2007, when the duo hosted their own night in Birmingham with the aim of testing their sound which they had been trying to perfect. After plenty of positive feedback, more events were arranged and established DJs added to the lineups.

In high spirits from the reaction which they received, they registered HTD Digital in December 2007 and proceeded to work hard towards cementing the foundations of the HTD brand. Their efforts were rewarded when they attracted the attention of talented artists Keith Hyndes, Darren Overton and Hi-Freak, who have all since had their compilations snapped up by the label.

Shawn Cartwright’s definitive ‘Warlord’ is set to jet start the campaign with its release in April 2008. Backed up with an entourage of future releases from a variety of accomplished artists, HTD is coming, prepare yourself for more of this.
