Rise Up Digital
The dynamic duo of Pickup & Rise (Northern NRG and Hard House DJs Matt Pickup & Andy Rise) had been struggling to find a label that they felt really suited their tastes in filthy but cheeky hard house. Until 2009 that is, when they established their most recent label RiseUp Digital. Dedicated to pushing the boundaries of fun hard dance onwards and upwards, the label will be showcasing the talents of the two lads, as well as bringing out soon-to-be anthems from new producers who they feel are the best of the new breed. Crazy remakes are the order of the day for RiseUp Digital, alongside innovative new tracks and tunes that will soon be dancefloor favourites. Well produced, high quality music that doesn't take itself too seriously is on its way from the new label; a style of music that the boys' hundreds of fans will be very familiar with. Launched on 20 July, the label has been well received; with first releases 'Feels Like Monday' (Matt Pickup, Dave the Elf & Riggsy) and 'Needed U' (Mini Minx & Riggsy) selling well. RiseUp
Digital is one to watch closely in 2009 and beyond as the release schedule is already looking very exciting.
