Big Mama Records
Big Mama Records is an independently owned deep house music label founded by Vincent Inc and close friend Toto Bradshaw as well as Big Mama on the behind the scenes work. The inspiration for the label came when a particular release was released with Big Mama Thormton house blues. Vincent had an idea. With Vincent's undying passion for underground deep house music he approached Toto to do something on the side to cater to a more "underground" sound. This was in 2009 thus Big Mama Records was born. At that pivotal time no one knew if vinyl was going to survive or if everything was going all digital. So as we watched the industry move towards digital we knew it was a wise and productive decision to go that route.
With production from Vincent Inc alias for Manuscript records Ukraine "We fall so deep" and underground dj legend & producer Hakan Lidbo as well as Finland's global superstar we were off to a good start. Big Mama Records will not be a label to release record after record we would rather focus on getting quality over quantity in all aspects. The labels direction is quite simple as it is complicated. We like quality whether it’s the deepest of house to the most haunting of techno. As long as its good we want to hear it ! Whatever direction the "quality" music goes into we will too. We love forward thinking intelligent house and techno music and hope you do too :)
