Shroom Recordings

The effervescent UK hard dance scene has seen many changes over the last few months. Different sub-genres of the overall genre have grown out of nowhere and many have continued to flourish.

 

One predominant factor seems to a key issue within these sweeping changes though – and that is the level of intelligence and forward thinking injected into the scene.

 

With this in mind, take time to witness the birth of ‘Shroom Recordings’.

 

With overall control of the label (and as its owner and head of A&R), Sam Townend’s ethos behind the label is one that firmly follows the ‘forward thinking’ nature of the scene.

 

 

On the commencement of the label, Sam comments : “…we will be focusing on releasing ‘tek’ orientated material…think hard dance music that has groove so you can shake your ass to it and dance without looking like your having a fit and you have what shroom is all about!...”
