Well, what was supposed to be a brief hiatus here at Benefactor, turned into something even briefer than expected when a kick ass demo dropped through our Inbox. How can you say no when not one but four wicked tracks come through. Andy hails from Cheshire and has released already on Elektrax, Plastiq, Putz and TMMR to name but a few. 

Kicking things off is the sinister 'Distance', which has a fierce kick drum, and mechanical percussion that sounds at home both in the clubs, and outdoors at festivals and illegal raves. 

Title track 'ELEHKTRIK' takes things a little deeper with a menacing detuned synth riff that grinds away but with absolute power. This should win favour with fans of Glenn Wilson, Bas Mooy and Matthias Fridell.

Next up is 'Sambuca Friday', which although is dedicated to that nasty shot many have consumed on a Friday night, certainly packs a punch with chaotic drumwork, tribalistic basslines and is perfect for the six-in-the-morning session outdoors just as the sun is coming up. 

Finally for all the festivals is the retro 'G6', the riff on this is sublime with an edge towards the Sven Vath/Dave Clarke tunes of yesteryear and really smashes the place!
