R135 Tracks returns with EP number 36 and this time it's with remixes of a well known anthem 'Roof Of Heaven' remixing this one is a list of future headliners including Diablik and Nish. Names aside there's a pretty neat Psyphoric Remix too for all the Psy ravers out there, this remix has a true dragonfly feel to it too.

First up is Nish's Dubstek remix, which is very trancey infact I would class this one as tech trance but as ever I'll leave the genre pinpointing aside, I do like tech trance, I just don't play it. This has every element you would expect, the break greets you and it's quite soothing, after a short stint the melody kicks in giving it a tech dance feel with plenty of melody, whilst this is going on it sounds in the background like it's on life support and is about to come back to life, then it literally does with a full on euphoric break, something that you would hear back in 2000 when trance ruled the dance scene, however reminding us it's 2010 the kick comes back in quite techy and pieced, positioned very cleverly around the main lead which is of course whats on the roof of heaven.
The Diablik remix is something I have been playing out for a few months now, it's something that just fits my sets, extremely chunky and it stands out a mile. Anyway this one is one of my preferred remixes Diablik has done of any release and he does this an awful lot of justice, it's possibly my favourite remix of 2010. He adds his chunky energetic beat with shit loads of effects that eventually as I would like to describe it transform into a completely different sound. This is something very rare in dance music and Diablik makes it sound amazing. Aside from this the crowds are gonna love it.
Lastly is a Psyphoric remix which kind of reminds me of my dragonfly days. Yes it's psy trance and it's full of energy with an amazing euphoric lead running alongside a hell of a lot of stabs into a breakdown which makes you respect the huge chords and strings that can be brought to the roof of heaven. I have to admit I'm not too fond of the Psy sound nowadays but this is astonishing.
