Fine Records is a label dedicated to releasing the best in forward thinking dance music. Not tied to any particular genre, Fine releases all have a stamp of quality. Artists on the label are
Tiefschwarz, brothers Ali & Basti, one of the hottest names in dance music right now. Remixes such as Spektrum's 'Kinda New' and their 'Misch Masch' compilation propelled them to stardom in 2004. They are now enjoying success with their artist album 'Eat Books'.
Next up is Mocky, a Canadian born songwriter based in Berlin, about to cross over to the mainstream with his a quirky take on R n B influenced electro-pop. Mocky released his album 'Are + Be' last year to great praise and is now working on his follow up.
Freeform Five have recently joined the Fine stable in a joint label venture called 'Perspex'. The album Strangest Things is being released with a special bonus disc of remixes and two tracks from the album will be released as singles.
One-Two are new signings, a band from France who bring new direction in music to Fine. Look out for their debut single this year and the album release next year supported by live shows.
Cass & Mangan are another new addition to the Fine roster, a pair of experienced producers making the best electronic sounds around.
Drama Society are two italian producers with a deeper darker take on electro. They will be releasing their debut album next year.
Italian X-Rays are the power pop group that include Paul Mogg from Psychonauts ready to inject a dose of adrenalin in the charts.
Turntablerocker are a duo including members of multi million selling seminal German hip hop act Die Fantastischen Vier.
J.L.Henney is a young up and coming talent from London who provides a more melodic take on electro.
Fine also manages Robi Insinnas esteemed Relish label. Robi records as Headman and Manhead. Signings to the label include David Gilmour Girls & Franz & Shape.
A second compilation of exclusive tracks from the hottest names on the Berlin club scene will be released next year.
