RICHARD GREY PRESENTATION! Subliminal and Pacha main man Richard Grey knows how to move the dancefloor and this moroder style bassline beast is going to be one of his main weapons all Ibiza season. TOO MANY MAN! We love this to bits! All over the radio and in the club, Boy Better Know call for more girls in here. I think we all agree that the more girls the merrier when it comes to partying so big ups to BBK for the shout. Jamie Duggan rolls out the bassline funk and there's a snappy DJ Zinc remix which is dark 4x4 action. Recommended!

Abe Duque - Why They Need Us - Process Recordings

New Yorks Abe Duque has been producing classy, distinctive techno since 1995 and return with his third album. While Most of the album stomps along in steady 4/4 there are some track at a more meditative pace such as this future retro track taking heavy John Carpenter references. Make sure to check out the rest of the album!

 

Space Disco:

Partners In Crime - Goin' Underground - Swedish Brandy Productions

This is the first release from partners in crime (aka beatfanatic), which is a new swedish 80´s electronic disco project. Fierce peaktime disco groover with cosmic styled synths, pumping beat and catchy bassline. BRILLIANT!

 

Tech House:

Adam K & Soha - Choose Your Weapon (Long Range Mix) - Toolroom Trax

Classic Sasha and Digweed style mess with your head house music makes up the flip side to the latest Adam K & Soha release on Toolroom Trax. The main hook sound just keeps on rising and it's going to cause some serious mayhem. Two versions of Choose Your Weapon here to twist em up. AWESOME!

A stunning EP from Axel Karakasis' Remain Limited label, an off-shoot to his majorly successful Remain techno imprint! He proves that he knows his tech house as much as he knows his techno by unleashing these Dubfire-esque dance floor bombs! A must hear people!

 

Progressive Tech House:

Lojak & Kim Fai - Granular - BDR Music

The BDR label have been supreme so far in 2009 and this release is quite possibly their strongest to date! new kin on the block and Toolroom artist Kim Fai locks horns with Lojack for this progressive tinged tech house track and it ROCKS! Remixes are great too so dive right in!

Miche - Borat - Adult Records

TRACKITDOWN EXCLUSIVE!! Part 2 of this stunning release from Miche and this 'Borat' track is another slice of tribal, funky techno with the phattest drum loops known to man! Throw in some quirky guitar licks and we have a MASSIVE tune on our hands! We urge you to check this out, amazing!

Has been getting dropped by everyone from Pinch to Skream and was staple track in lots of people's sets at Bloc Weekend. ESSENTIAL!

 

Jump Up:

Taxman & Heist - Iced - Frontline Records

Taxman & Heist team up for this new outing on Frontline Records and produce a couple of floor filling, speaker crushing bangers. The A side, 'Iced', starts with dj friendly filtered beats and carefully chosen effects before the ominous 'This is something special...' vocal sample drops leads into a serious jump up roller that has all the required ingredients, and much more, to slew the dancefloors. DJ HYPE LOVES IT AND SO SHOULD YOU!

 

Jump Up, Techstep

Subsonik and Kiro - Hold On (Original Mix) - Subsonik Sound

FUTURE ANTHEM! Big fan of this absolutely killer track from smokin hot drum and bass team Subsonik and Kiro. The rolling, grimy bassline, perfect vocal hook, and sparkly drum track are signatures of both of these producers.This is set to be huge this summer. check it out and hear why!

Code 3 - Delta - SGN:LTD

Next up in the SGN:LTD series is a solid 12 from new production outfit Code 3, comprising of SP:MC, Jubei and Dakuan. This crew mean business and are ones to watch for 2009. This is a heavy Virus inspired journey for the Shogun faithful to step to. Massive with the likes of Goldie, Fierce, Ed Rush and Doc Scott. DONT MISS!

Brookes Brothers - The Light - ADHD Digital

BROOKES BROTHERS! Loving the sound and loving the vibe on this one. Huge cut from the ever reliable Brookes Brothers that drops just in time for summer. A proper liquid roller with lush vocals and sax lifted from smooth jazz artist Bobby Caldwell. This is part of a charity album 'Its Good For The Soul' featuring over 45 tracks and with proceeds going to a Kent Hospice
