Afrojack Pops Paris’ Proposal

Reported by JontySkrufff on July 2, 2011

David Guetta sideman Afrojack downplayed reports he’s due to make (or has already made) music with reality TV heiress Paris Hilton this week, in an ambiguous aside to California newspaper the Hollywood Reporter.

“I met her and she’s pretty cool so we’ll see,” the Dutch DJ told the Reporter, “(But) I’m not going to do a pop song with Paris. If I do something with her, it’s going to be real,” he vowed. (Hollywood Reporter: )

The newspaper also suggested Afrojack stole the show (and crushed Martin Solveig) at Vegas’ inuaugural Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) rave last weekend (‘tens of thousands of fans were chanting “Afrojack, Afrojack” as Solveig was finishing his preceding set’) though Paris wasn’t there, instead partying with jilted 86 year old entrepreneur Hugh Hefner.

“Kinda suprised Hilton didn't go to Electric Daisy Carnival in Vegas, but Kandyland was nearly as wild,” LA Weekly reporter Lina Lecaro noted of the Paul Oakenfold hosted US$1,000 a ticket Playboy Mansion bash.

“In fact, though the Wonderland/Willy Wonka aesthetic was whimsically child-like, this one was sort of like EDC for adults ... Rich, horny and crafty adults,” she declared. (LA Weekly; )

Paris’ erstwhile number one fan/ stalker Nathan Lee Parada was meanwhile sentenced to two years in jail this week after being convicted of attempted burglary when he was arrested inside her LA compound staring in a window.

Writing about the incident on Twitter in 2009, Paris admitted she’d been inside at the time and found it ‘so scary’.

“Just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes (sic),” she wrote, “Cops are here arresting him.'
