Notoriously inaccurate British tabloid the Sun claimed Prince Harry made friends with Deadmau5 in Vegas this week, after partying for three hours while the Canadian producer performed at Wynn Hotel's XS night-club.
"Harry had a top night and wanted to thank the DJ. He went into his dressing room to have a chat, plus share a few drinks,” a ‘source’ told the Sun.
"Harry is well into his music and was asking Deadmau5 questions about other DJs and his opinions on them,” the ‘source’ added, “They bounced off each other really well." (The Sun; http://bit.ly/sxOtDR)
Writing about the event 24 hours on Twitter, however, Deadmau5 disowned the ‘dubstep’ loving Dauphin.
“I didn’t meet the prince,” he claimed, “(I) didn’t even know he was there until the day after.” https://twitter.com/#!/deadmau5
The Sun went on to claim Harry had stayed in a VIP space to avoid ‘being hounded by pointless celebrities’ though said he was seen ‘chatting up a blonde on the dancefloor’, a suggestion that struck a chord with the fantasies of a rival US tabloid reporter who was later exposed on Twitter by Vegas celebrity Markus ‘Notch’ Persson.
Emailing the computer game star after learning he’d been at the Deadmau5 party, a reporter from U.S. Weekly Magazine begged to know ‘what songs the Prince liked and danced to, if he danced with anyone, what we was drinking, wearing, were there any special girls he was hanging out with- any kissing etc’ prompting am immediate- online-response from Notch.
"Yes, Prince Harry was there. When he arrived he asked Deadmau5 to lower the volume, then he pulled out a guitar and started rocking this awesome solo that seemed to go on forever,” said Notch.
“When i left the party, Prince Harry was on stage wearing the Mau5head. He's not a bad DJ!" he added. Deadmau5 later linked to the message on his Facebook page, attracting over 5,000 ‘likes’. (http://on.fb.me/ts4jfw )

im gunna keep this one simple, but here's the rundown. 1. I am not a Disc Jockey. There is no jockeying of discs going on.
10. what do you think about X DJ or Producer. I dont really have any opinions on anyone else, just because i can clearly see how opinionated everyone is about me, and how much it always goes back and forth. . . .”
