The Trackitdown crew hit the Glade Festival last weekend and wow, what a weekend it was.
Glade is located in the stunning grounds of Houghton Hall, which was always going to look sensational however the work and effort that the Glade crew put into the stages and arenas was clearly huge.
Tucked away in the woods, the adventure playground for crazed adults, The Meteor stage absolutely smashed it. Booming bass bins sat underneath its core and UFO style DJ booth will have definitely taken ravers to outer space.
This years line up has to be one of the biggest to date, with the likes of Sven Vath Andy C, Foreign Beggars, Dillinja, Oliver Huntemann, Vitalic and so many more. It was impossible to see everyone.
Foreign Beggars brought the Glade Stage to life on Friday, tearing out their combination of heavy basslines, hard hitting beats and super tight vocals. Submotion Orchestra allowed for a brief period of calmness on Saturday, with the airy vocals of the sublime Ruby Woods and their massive sub bass grooves. The night really kicked off when Eats Everything delivered another one of his trademark bumping house sets at the epic Pyro-mid stage.
Trackitdowns head honcho, Ed Real, kicked off the Trackitdown Showcase on Friday night, rinsing out some filthy drum & bass through the Funktion One sound system that towered over the seriously cool I-Scream stage. He was followed by the likes of Bladerunner, Zen, Intraspekt, Mob Tactis, and Northern Lights, who continued to tear up the dance floor.
Finally on Sunday night 10,000 ravers gathered at the hub of the festival to watch the spectacular burning of the Pyro-mid stage. The 625 smaller pyramids that were fitted together to erect the Pryo-mid, were set on fire to celebrate and bring the festival to a close after a weekend of killer electronic music.
The Trackitdown crew will definitely be returning to Glade in full force next year!
