The launch party for the 2012 DJ Mag Top 100 Poll powered by Trackitdown.net will be held on Wednesday 27th June at Proud2 at the O2. The event will be broadcast live to the world on B@TV.
Celebrations will commence on the outdoor terrace at Proud2 at 18:00, with music from MYNC, Lange, John B and Spektre through until 23:00. If the weather isn’t pleasant the event will move inside to Proud2’s VIP room.
The Top 100 DJs Poll is the biggest music poll of its kind in the world. In 2011, David Guetta toppled Armin Van Buuren from the No.1 spot, van Buuren having previously held the top position for 4 years. Voting for 2012 The Top 100 DJs Poll opens from Wednesday 27th June and runs until 29th August. Voting this year is again taking place through Facebook. All fans need to do is go to Facebook.com/top100djs and follow the necessary steps from there.
This year, everyone who votes will get a free Top 100 DJs album from Trackitdown.net. This unique and unprecedented release features contributions from the biggest names in dance music, including Sander Van Doorn, Fedde Le Grand, Dash Berlin, Ferry Corsten, Marco V, Rusko, Infected Mushroom, Roger Sanchez, Hardwell, John B, Arty, Shogun, Bloody Beetroots and many more.
These album tracks are all exclusive to the release – either brand new productions, unreleased remixes or exclusive edits created especially for DJ Mag.
The Top 100 DJs Awards party will be held in Amsterdam during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) at the end of October. And for the first time in the poll’s history, DJ mag will also be hosting a Top 100 DJs party on another continent.
To be in with a chance of winning one of 5 pairs of tickets to the launch event simply email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject of 'Launch Party'.
