Brighton Music Conference 2017 Reveals Full Lineup!

The Brighton Music Conference, the UK’s foremost electronic music conference and networking event for professionals and enthusiasts, is back for 2017.

BMC17 welcomes key industry figures from the AFEM, BPI, PRS for Music, PPL, Ministry of Sound, Sony, Fabric, Live Nation, Mixcloud, Mixmag, Defected, NTIA, Toolroom, Hospital Records, MMF, DJ Mag, AEI, UKF, Brapp TV, PIAS, Loopmasters, Anjunabeats, Insanity, Sub Club, Clintons, Crown Management, Roland, Serato, Sheridans, BIMM, Anglo Digital Management, Shogun Audio, and beyond. Conference artists announced include Paul Hartnoll (Orbital), High Contrast, Mark Knight, Friction, Danny Howard (Radio 1), Foreign Beggars, Prok & Fitch, Sam Divine, Josh Butler, My Nu Leng, Just Her, Coldcut, and more. 

Native Instruments will host their Native Sessions with seminar, talks and workshops including the use of Maschine, Workflow, Kontakt, and Traktor. Producers and artists taking part this year include Randomer, Ikonika, Whyt Noyz, Throwing Shade, with SSR London discussing Tactile Sound Design using Maschine Jam.

BMC17’s Professional programme will present panels and topics ‘Streaming vs Radio’; ‘AFEM Presents Get Played, Get Paid’; an interview with Fabric’s Keith Reilly by NTIA’s Alan Miller; ‘How to Promote Diversity In Dance Music’; ‘What’s Next For Electronic Music?’; ‘BPI Presents Music Piracy’; ‘NTIA Presents Save Nightlife’; ‘Creative Law Presents: But it was only a “cheeky” re-edit? Copyright law and the Remix’; ‘BPI Presents ‘Sync In Progress’; ‘Music Recognition Technology: how does it work for you?’ moderated by Tim Arber, Head of Membership Support, PRS for Music, and ‘Giving Back in association with Last Night A DJ Save My Life Foundation’.
