‘Vast Majority’ Of Brits Branded Bisexual ::

Reported by Trackitdown TID on August 9, 2004

A new survey of female clubbers has revealed that a third consider themselves bisexual with 57% admitting to an occasional fling.

The Daily Mirror’s survey interviewed 1,000 British female clubbers who told them drink, drugs and the ‘clubbing atmosphere’ prompted their experimentation, while ‘sexpert’ Suzie Hayman claimed even more enjoy fantasising.

“Suzie says that other research showed the vast majority of people- both female and male- often fantasise about gay sex,” The Mirror declared.

“In fact, it is one of the most common fantasy scenarios.”

The new survey came less than a year after the Mirror reported that reported levels of girls experiencing lesbian sex have tripled since 1990 (from 2.8% to 9%) and some 18 months after tabloid doctor Hilary Jones suggested cocaine use could be a catalyst for sexual experimentation.

“Like alcohol, cocaine releases a lot of people’s inhibitions, so they may become more sexually aggressive,” Dr Jones told the News Of The World.

“When cocaine was used as a recreational drug in Victorian times it was well-known to make men more heterosexual and women more homosexual,” he claimed. (‘Suzie Hayman is a Relate-trained counsellor, roadcaster and author of 18 books, plus she's been a national agony aunt for 15 years . . .’)
