Deep / Tech House

For Pron Records first album we thought we'd do something different. Enter Nik Woodward. Born in West-Berlin in June 1974, raised up in Florence (Italy) and Frankfurt am Main to Munich where he now lives again. Nik's passion for music first started back in the early 80's, where he had his first contacts with music and the large vinyl collection of his parents. Nik bought his first two 1210 technics when he was 16 years old, ever since then he developed his great skills in vinylism. Truly lost in music, he started playing in Clubs, in some as Resident Dj and in others as a Guest. There has also been a time with several illegal outdoor Techno Events over the years he became a Storyteller on the wheels of Steel, and a passionate collector and selecta of the finest shit, from real deep House to brain-shaking Minimal-Techno.For his first release with Pron Records, Nik serves up 8 cuts of prime, deep, minimal techno with a straight up house flavor. Side of Bacon sizzles like it's title suggests while deeper more melodic tracks like Tazeraki and Kepler184 will keep a dance-floor grooving well after dark. Tuscan Raiders and Furry Paw are chugging affairs guaranteed to get your crowd going. Turnpike, Mounted and Delicate House round out Slice of Life perfectly. Nik Woodward has contributed greatly here to the Pron Records catalogue and we hope you think so too.
